Purple Seven is an expert in bringing meaning from data in the Arts and Entertainment industry.

Purple Seven was founded in 2002 by Stuart and Lisa Nicolle and quickly established itself as a leading audience insight agency. Over the past sixteen years, Purple Seven has worked with the best in the business operating across the UK, Europe, US, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand helping our clients understand their consumers and how they engage with the Arts.

We are passionate about the Arts and have built a team that shares our drive and ambition to support the sector reach its full potential.

Stuart Nicolle

Managing Director

Stuart, in partnership with his wife Lisa, is the founder and Managing Director of Purple Seven. His experience working with arts and cultural organisations across the world has given him a deep insight into how they work, their motivations and challenges and the support and solutions they require.

With his creative approach, he was instrumental in developing new techniques to deliver innovative and relevant solutions to the sector. These included the development of the revolutionary ‘DDX’ to automatically collect ticketing data from any ticketing system, powerful segmentation models including 'Balanced Database', personal ‘recommendations’ engines, automated customer survey tools and other award-winning software.

Lisa Nicolle

Executive Director

Lisa co-founded Purple Seven back in 2002 with husband Stewart Nicolle and has also had the opportunity to work in a variety of Arts organisations, most recently with Playbox Theatre. Lisa is delighted to be back with the Purple Seven team and looking forward to a new era of growth and support for our clients.
